At Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco, chef/owner Tony Gemignani has brought back his Sausage and Stout Pizza for St. Patrick’s Day.

Best enjoyed with a pint, the pie is crafted with beer sausage, fresh house-made mozzarella, plenty of Guinness beer (20% to be exact) and a drizzle of malted Guinness reduction to top it all off.

Gemignani said he prefers Guinness to other beers as the dry stout adds the best flavor.

Tony’s is offering a sausage and stout pairing through March 19. Customers can get the pizza itself for $29 or pair it with one pint of Guinness for $36 and two pints for $40.

In June 2022, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana was named the No. 2 best pizzeria in the U.S. by Italian pizza experts from 50 Top Pizza. Una Pizza Napoletana, Anthony Mangieri’s restaurant in New York’s Lower East Side, took top honors.

In January 2023, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana also came in at No. 11 in a list of the best pizzas worldwide from the Big 7 Travel website.
