Fans of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, can lighten up at lunchtime this summer with a new menu that pairs popular items like salads, sandwiches and soups for a special price.

The new Pranzo Pairings lunch menu launched on June 13. (In case you don’t speak Italian, “pranzo” means “lunch.”) Starting at $10.99, guests can pair their favorite salads, such as a Caesar salad or the new chopped salad, with a pasta fagioli soup, sandwich or a personal 10” pizza.

The menu features four specialty sandwiches made with Anthony’s signature coal-fired focaccia bread: the Italian Sausage & Peppers Sandwich, the Italian Tuna Salad, the Coal Oven Roasted Chicken and the Long Hot Meatball Mozzarella.

“Our new Italian-inspired menu features guest favorites along with new offerings,” said Ophir Sternberg, executive chairman of BurgerFi, which owns Anthony’s, and founder and CEO of Lionheart Capital, in a press release. “The Pranzo Pairings are a great way to enjoy Italian classics in lighter lunch fare.”

In addition to the lunch specials, Anthony’s will offer late-night two-for-one specials of wine and draft beer from Sunday to Thursday from 8 p.m. to close at participating locations. Anthony’s will also upgrade its happy hour menu (Sunday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.) with items including $3 garlic knots, $4 meatballs and $5 wings.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings was acquired by BurgerFi International Inc. on November 3, 2021. BurgerFi recently hired Carl Bachmann, formerly the president of Smashburger, as its CEO last month.

Anthony’s is centered around a 900-degree coal-fired oven with menu offerings including “well-done” pizza, coal-fired chicken wings, homemade meatballs and a variety of handcrafted sandwiches and salads. The company was named “The Best Pizza Chain in America” by USA Today’s Great American Bites and a “Top 3 Best Major Pizza Chain” by Mashed in 2021.
