This Pizza Chain Goes Hog-Wild With Pepperoni in New Campaign

The star of the show is the Pepperoni Trio Pizza, topped with whole-milk mozz, regular pepperoni, cup-and-crisp pepperoni and diced pepperoni.

Pepperoni is still the most popular pizza topping in the U.S., so why not build an entire campaign around it? That’s what Pizza Guys, based in Sacramento, is doing for the remainder of 2023.

The pepperoni campaign will run from September through December 31. It features the Cup & Crisp Pepperoni Duo Pizza, the new Cheezee Pepperoni Rolls and the new Cheezee Pepperoni Bread.

But Pizza Guys says the real star of the show is the new Pepperoni Trio Pizza, topped with 100% whole-milk mozzarella, plus regular pepperoni, cup-and-crisp pepperoni and the chain’s new diced pepperoni.

“The classic pepperoni topping just got a little more exciting at Pizza Guys,” said Shahpour Nejad, CEO and founder of Pizza Guys. “We’re excited to end the year with a pepperoni extravaganza, and we encourage everyone to try our new menu items. We’ve really taken pepperoni to a whole new level, along with the pizza lover’s experience.”

As an added bonus, Pizza Guys is offering a $4 discount on any new Pepperoni Trio or large specialty pizza.

Pizza Guys was founded in 1986 and began franchising in 1994. The brand currently has more than 80 stores in three states.
