“Our latest limited-time pizza features what our guests love most at Round Table Pizza—plenty of meats, elevated flavors and high-quality ingredients topped to the edge,” said Taylor Voelker, Round Table Pizza’s senior director of marketing.

Bill Larson opened the first Round Table Pizza store in 1959 in Menlo Park, California, and the brand has continued to grow across the western U.S., with more than 400 locations.

For its 60th anniversary in 2019, Round Table underwent a brand refresh, with a new motto (“Pizza Royalty”), logo and website, store design, packaging, uniforms and menu items. The updated vision highlights the lore of King Arthur’s mythical knights of the round table.

The brand has also enjoyed social-media success with its latest mascot, a shining knight in armor, that features prominently in Round Table marketing campaigns. In a Halloween 2023 video that parodied popular costume choices, the knight could be seen attired like a cat, an angel, movie villain Michael Myers and a bumblebee—until his little yellow antennae fell off his helmet. For a Leap Day video this year, the mascot, holding a carryout pizza box in one hand and a stick horse in the other, was shown taking an awkward “leap” (more like an extended step) over a wet spot on the sidewalk.
