Oak & Stone, a concept from Cape Coral, Florida-based Artistry Restaurants, is making its Texas debut in McKinney on May 19, welcoming guests for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. “Oak & Stone was built on a simple belief: People don’t just come to eat—they come to have an experience,” Artistry Restaurants announces. “The brand offers an elevated yet approachable dining experience where guests are invited to slow down and connect while enjoying housemade dishes and a robust drink program.”
Now expanding beyond its Florida roots with eight locations, Oak & Stone’s first Texas location in McKinney will connect with the local community through partnerships with Texas vendors for select ingredients, as well as collaborations with local breweries and distilleries—bringing a local touch and custom items to the brand’s offerings.
“As we grow beyond Florida, it’s important that each Oak & Stone location reflects the community it serves,” says Sam Aguilar, brand president. “McKinney is the perfect place for our Texas debut, and we’re looking forward to having a space where guests can gather, discover new flavors, and feel a true sense of connection.”
At the center of the experience is Oak & Stone’s signature self-pour Tap Wall, where guests can explore a variety of craft beverages. After checking in with a team member, guests receive a tap card that allows them to pour from approximately 50 rotating taps featuring beer, wine, bourbon, whiskey, cocktails and an expanding selection of zero-proof options. Guests can sample small pours or enjoy full glasses, while discovering new favorites with tasting notes and recommendations from knowledgeable Tap Guides who are on hand to “help turn curiosity into conversation.”

In addition to the tap wall, guests can sip on craft cocktails such as the Honey Nut Strawberry Mojito, with coconut rum, strawberry puree, lime, mint and honey; the Smoked Oak Fashioned, with Benchmark Single Barrel Bourbon, fresh orange, Amarena cherry, simple syrup, bitters and fresh rosemary, in a smoked glass; and Watermelon Fields Forever, featuring cucumber vodka, watermelon juice, lime and mint.
Oak & Stone is partnering with iconic Texas brand Terry Black’s Barbecue to introduce exclusive, locally inspired menu items. The collaboration will feature Terry Black’s Dry Rub Wings and the Brisket & Bacon Pizza featuring Terry Black’s signature chopped brisket, spicy candied bacon, chipotle marinara, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh jalapeños, pickled onions, scallions and housemade barbecue sauce. Another Texas-exclusive item is the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers, made with street corn and cream cheese filling, crispy bacon and scallions, served with housemade ranch dressing.
Other menu highlights include appetizers such as the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, made with housemade dough, stuffed with shaved ribeye, onions and cheese, served with Shiner Bock beer cheese; and Pretzel-Crusted Sashimi—thinly sliced ahi tuna drizzled with kabayaki and ginger honey mustard. Wings are available tossed in housemade sauces such as the Bourbon Sticky, a sweet and tangy bourbon sauce, scallions and sesame seeds.
Meanwhile, Oak & Stone’s artisan pizzas are made with handcrafted dough and housemade sauces. Standouts include The Farmer & Pig, with imported prosciutto, arugula, mozzarella, hot honey and garlic-infused herb oil, topped with fresh shaved Pecorino Romano; Cacio e Pepe, with garlic Parm sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, Pecorino Romano, fresh basil and cracked black pepper; and the Winger, with buffalo chicken tenders, cheddar, ranch, hot sauce aioli, blue cheese and scallions. The menu also features rotating limited-time, seasonal offerings throughout the year.
The approximately 6,000-square-foot space will accommodate seating for about 200 guests and “is designed to feel warm, energetic and lived-in—like being welcomed into a friend’s home,” according to the brand. “The space blends comfort with character to create an environment that naturally encourages conversation and community. Open, social layouts invite gathering and exploration, while layered materials and thoughtful textures lend a handcrafted, approachable feel. The result is a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that transitions seamlessly from daytime brunches to late-night hangs.”
To celebrate opening day on May 19, guests who visit will have the chance to win one of four sets of four tickets to the CJ Cup Byron Nelson golf tournament, with one ticket package awarded each day. Guests can also stop by a front table to spin and win for prizes including T-shirts, tote bags, drink cozies, gift cards and more. Prizes will be available for the first 300 guests, while supplies last. To enter the ticket giveaway, guests scan a QR code displayed at the booth or host stand and submit their information.
Oak & Stone’s mission is to “spread joy through genuine connections, thoughtful interactions and an unwavering commitment to quality,” the brand shares. “Every visit is designed to be restoring, memorable and filled with unexpected delights that make guests feel valued. With a loyal following and a reputation for warm, engaging service, Oak & Stone continues to evolve while staying true to its core—heartfelt hospitality, scratch-made food, craft beverages and a cool community vibe that guests love.”
Its parent company, Artistry Restaurants “strives to create value through the acquisition, consolidation, operation and expansion of attractive restaurant brands.” It currently operates 52 restaurants in five states across seven brands, including Atlantic Beer & Oyster, Boca, The Chapman, Hickory Tavern, Oak & Stone, Sandbar Amelia Island and Shrimp Basket. In 2025, the restaurant group acquired the 20-unit Hickory Tavern, which marked Artistry’s entry into the Carolinas. It has plans for numerous new Oak & Stone location openings over the next 18 months.
