Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom is raising a pint to its 50th birthday with the Cinco Cero Tour, a limited-time experience that blends new menu innovation with Cinco de Mayo-inspired favorites and a rewards-driven experience inspired by the brand’s legacy.

Available now through May 31, the Cinco Cero Tour invites guests to celebrate the milestone by exploring new flavors and fan favorites alike. At the center is the Stacked & Smashed Burger, with twin smashed burgers topped with two layers of crispy onions and American and mozzarella cheeses on a toasted brioche bun.

The curated beverage lineup leans into the occasion with imported favorites like Pacifico, Modelo and Corona and a rotating selection of local brews, alongside new margaritas. Cocktails include The 1976 (Milagro Silver, Bosscal Mezcal Joven, bright blood orange and crisp Fever Tree ginger beer) and the Strawberry Luxe Margarita (a smooth blend of Patrón Silver, Cointreau, fresh lime and Monin Strawberry Puree, finished with a float of Grand Marnier).

Extending beyond the restaurant, Old Chicago launched its “Pizza for the People” initiative, giving back to local communities and recognizing its heroes with a 50-pizza giveaway in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, National Nurses Week and International Firefighters’ Day.

“For 50 years, Old Chicago has been a place where people come together over pizza and a great beer,” said Jeremy Underhill, the brand’s senior director of operations. “Cinco Cero is a celebration of that legacy—giving guests new reasons to come back, whether they’re trying the Stacked & Smashed burger or returning for the signature items they’ve come to know and love. It’s about continuing to evolve that experience while staying true to the traditions that have made Old Chicago a staple for generations.”

Guests who complete 14 qualifying purchases during the Cinco Cero Tour will score an exclusive anniversary T-shirt—a wearable badge of honor celebrating five decades of great beer, great food and even better memories with the fans who’ve made it possible.

Founded in 1976, Old Chicago was inspired by the Windy City’s iconic pizza culture, sports-driven energy and even a little-known but iconic pinball machine. Headquartered in Denver, the company has more than 52 stores in 21 states. It offers pizzas on three crusts: Chicago-style Tavern Thin, Ale-Infused, and OC Thick pan-style.
