According to a news report from abc15.com, “Firefighters from the Phoenix and Tempe Fire Departments will be serving tables, making pizza and working the counter at NYPD Pizza Thursday in Tempe.”
“It’s part of the firefighter challenge where tips raised will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Shamrocks Against Dystrophy program,” said the story. “On Tuesday night, customers at the 20th Street and Camelback Road location watched firefighters in action. Raffles items donated by local businesses were also given away to customers who purchased shamrocks.”
