Seattle-based MOD Pizza, the largest fast-casual pizza concept in North America, has a new chief marketing officer: Jennifer Anderson, formerly the CMO of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers.
Anderson will oversee all aspects of marketing for the company, including advertising, digital marketing, consumer insights and engagement, local store marketing and menu development.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jenn to our leadership team,” MOD CEO Beth Scott said in a press release. “Her extensive marketing experience coupled with her culinary achievements make her perfectly suited for this important role as we work to continue evolving the MOD Pizza brand.”

During her eight-year tenure at Raising Cain’s, Anderson led various successful marketing initiatives contributing to the brand’s robust growth from 100 to 550 locations. Before that, she spent more than a decade at Darden Restaurants, thriving in various marketing and culinary roles. Anderson’s accomplishments included leading cross-functional teams to develop seven nationally advertised promotions for the $3.7 billion casual dining company.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join Beth and the team to help guide a brand I’ve long enjoyed and admired to the next phase of its journey,” Anderson said.
Anderson’s passion for cooking and great food led her to initially pursue a culinary career, and she earned her associate degree in culinary arts and a bachelor’s degree in foodservice management from Johnson & Wales University. Successfully leading various size teams,
Anderson soon transitioned seamlessly into marketing management, where she notched numerous accomplishments. She later earned an M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
Scott and Ally Svenson founded MOD Pizza in 2008. The brand has more than 500 locations systemwide in 29 states and Canada.
