World-renowned San Francisco pizzaiolo Tony Gemignani will bring his Slice House by Tony Gemignani concept all the way to the American Southeast in the coming years—specifically, Tennessee.

In a press release, Gemignani’s brand announced the signing of a multi-unit franchise agreement for 11 new locations throughout Tennessee. Slice House will start opening stores in that state in 2025, the company said.

Slice House reports a total of 120 franchise units open or under development.

“Slice House’s newest deal in Tennessee represents a significant milestone for the national franchise as we extend our footprint to the Southeast,” Gemignani said. “While Slice House began on the West Coast, we’ve seen strong demand from franchisees as well as guests across the country. We are proud to have an experienced franchise partner on-board for the long term and look forward to offering our authentic, award-winning pizza to Tennesseans as a part of an incredible fast-casual experience.”

Out of the 11 new units hitting the Tennessee market, two are expected to be opened and fully operating as early as next year, primarily in major trade areas. However, the brand partner has franchise rights to develop the entire state.

Slice House began offering franchise opportunities in July 2022. It has since inked multi-unit deals in the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Texas, Utah, Colorado and Tennessee. The company anticipates signing 75-plus more units into development by the end of 2024.
