Defense largely dominated in last Sunday’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas, but there was no stopping Tony Gemignani’s pizza-making team at the concession stands. Slice House by Tony Gemignani reported record pizza sales at Allegiant Stadium that day, serving an incredible 8,200 slices to the star-studded crowds at the Big Game.

Gemignani’s company said the Super Bowl sales marked “an impressive milestone” that served as “a testament to customers’ love of Slice House’s authentic pizzas as well as the franchise’s success within [sports] venues.”

Slice House has five locations at Allegiant Stadium and a total of 29 locations in arenas and stadiums in California and Nevada, including the San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park, San Francisco Warriors’ Chase Center, San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium, and the newly opened Sphere in Las Vegas.

The company now has 145 units open or in development nationally, according to a press release.

“Food has a way of bringing people together, and this was no exception,” said Gemignani, a football fan and one of the world’s most celebrated pizzaioli. “I was honored to be at Slice House during the Super Bowl to personally serve our authentic pizzas to fans, whether they were San Francisco Bay Area natives who are familiar with our pizzas or customers visiting from other cities who were experiencing Slice House for the first time.”

George Karpaty, president of Slice House by Tony Gemignani noted that “Slice House has a long history being a part of sports and entertainment communities,” with plans to expand in more arenas and stadiums as its franchise program grows nationwide. “The Super Bowl was a great example of how Slice House provides top-quality pizza and genuine hospitality in fast-casual, high-traffic environments with a franchise that supports every aspect of the business,” Karpaty added.

Slice House by Tony Gemignani originally opened in San Francisco’s historic Italian neighborhood of North Beach in 2010. It now has six standalone locations as well as 29 locations within arenas and stadiums. In 2023, Slice House by Tony Gemignani launched its nationwide franchise program. To date, it has achieved 145 franchised units open or under development across five states, the company said.
