“A month long art project from local middle school students is finished, and now on public display for anyone to see,” according to WBIR-TV10. “The new painting on display at DaVinci’s Pizzeria on Southerland Avenue gives a unique twist to Leonardo DaVinci’s Famous painting The Last Supper.

“It shows Jesus and his disciples eating pizza and drinking soda. Thirty 8th grade students from Bearden Middle School worked on the project to raise awareness for hunger in Knoxville. With the new painting on display, the restaurant is hosting a canned food drive for Second Harvest Food Pantry.”
