LYNDEN, WA – March 16, 2009 – Restaurant point of sale developer SpeedLine Solutions, Inc. today announced a strategic partnership with Coalfire Systems to support and accelerate their customers’ PCI compliance initiatives.

SpeedLine has chosen Coalfire’s Navis™ secure, web-based platform to provide their clients the tools to easily complete their required annual PCI Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and quarterly network scans.

Navis Rapid SAQSM automates PCI assessment and reporting. By answering a series of organized questions in plain English, users are guided to completion of their annual SAQ and quarterly scanning requirements – much like a home tax program.  Self help and guidance is included, and live support by a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) support is available.

“The easy-to-use Navis platform is ideal for restaurant operators with limited computer and network security experience who need to demonstrate PCI compliance,” stated SpeedLine president John de Wolde. “When we commissioned a PCI compliance and security audit of the full SpeedLine POS product line, Coalfire Systems was our top choice of auditor. Through this affordable online service, we are now able to give our clients access to Coalfire’s expertise.”

“Given that the regulations around the handling of personal data are getting stricter,” says Alan Ferguson, Vice President of Coalfire, “it is impressive that SpeedLine has chosen to  step up by providing the tools to help their customers to comply with PCI, rather than just telling them they have to do something.”
