According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, “The Punxsutawney Area Community Center and Fox’s Pizza teamed up to hold their second annual fund-raiser, “Eat a Pizza, Make a Difference,” during the week of April 10-16.”

“Rob McCoy director of the community center, aimed for financial fitness with the Fox’s Pizza fox. The goal for the fund-raiser was to sell 1,000 pizzas, allowing Fox’s to donate a dollar a pizza to the community center; however, if 2,000 pizzas were sold, $4,000 would be donated. Exceeding last year’s sales of 1,500 pizzas, this year, 1,724 pizzas were sold, and Fox’s donated $2 a pizza to the center.”
