According to a report from 9and10news.com, “A Northern Michigan pizzeria is raising money for a local animal shelter one pumpkin at at time.”

“Employees at Pangea’s Pizza Pub in downtown Traverse City decorated over a dozen pumpkins for the public to vote on. For a donation, people
can vote on their favorite pumpkin and enter to win dinner for two at Pangea’s. Also, on weekends from noon to four, a dollar donation allows kids
to come in and decorate their own mini pumpkins. All the money raised will benefit the Cherryland Humane Society.”
