According to a news report from newstimeslive.com, “Joe Carlucci was at it again Friday. The 29-year-old champion Danbury pizza maker was throwing pies on morning television as a prelude to his appearance in next month’s Columbus Day parade in New York City.”

“A WPIX Channel 11 “Morning Show” crew featuring Larry Hoff spent nearly three hours at Carlucci’s pizzeria on White Street showing live clips of the maestro twirling his now-famous product,” said the story. “It’s something of a lost art,” said Carlucci, who made it to the Guinness Book of Records by throwing one of his pies more than 21 feet into the air and catching it. During next month’s parade, Carlucci is scheduled to demonstrate his art as he rides on one of the floats.”
