According to BusinessWeek.com, “Papa John’s said Friday that its President and co-CEO, J. Jude Thompson, is resigning.”

“Thompson has served as a director at the pizza chain since 2008 and an officer since 2009. The company said he is leaving to pursue other opportunities and focus on his interests in Arison Insurance Services. Thompson is a principal and co-founder of Assurance Investment Partners Inc., owner of Arison Insurance Services, an insurance firm based in Louisville. John Schnatter, the company’s founder, will serve as chairman and sole CEO.”
