According to a news report from MyKawartha.com, “The man who was to run a new Boston Pizza location at Portage Place has walked away from the deal.”

“He had a change of heart and decided it wasn’t the best thing for themselves,” says Ken Otto, executive vice president of Boston Pizza International in Mississauga.
Mr. Otto feels the restaurant will still be able to open late this year or early in 2008. He adds Boston Pizza is in talks with several potential new franchisees. The original opening date had been for November of this year,” said the story.
