Birmingham, Ala. – Slice Pizza & Brew, the newest restaurant addition to Birmingham’s Lakeview area, is gearing up to celebrate National Pizza Month. During the month of October, Slice will have several special events surrounding National Pizza Month, including From Slice to Finish: Pizza and Beer Pairings 101, special Halloween decorations and participate in Nightmare on 29th Street, the Lakeview Districts Halloween Event.

Slice is teaming up with Birmingham Beverage to bring you From Slice to Finish: Pizza and Beer Pairings 101, a beer and pizza pairings seminar. The Seminar will take place Monday, October 24 starting at 5:30pm. Tickets will be each and will include 5 slices of pizza and 5 samples of beer with a description of why each beer and pizza should be paired together. Tickets are available for purchase in advance at Slice or the day of. Space is limited to 30 particpants. Birmingham Beverage and Good People Brewing Co. will offer great advice and cool SWAG. Guests will experience the full flavors of both beer and pizza through these pairings.

Slice will also participate in Nightmare on 29th Street, the Lakeview District’s Halloween event. The event will take place Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29. Slice will provide live music on the patio starting at 5pm to kick off the party. Those that come to Slice in their costume will receive a discount on their purchases, alcohol not included.
