(Press Release) ELGIN, IL, Aug. 28, 2012 – In response to a dessert pizza challenge, Rosati’s director
of operations, Joe Fiore, is challenging Facebook fans and Twitter followers to create and
name the next Rosati’s pizza. The campaign was launched to tie in with National Pizza
Month. “Chef Joe’s Challenge,” is about getting customers to express their creativity and
originality. Rosati’s wants fans to create their own pizza, upload a photo of it, name it
and have everyone vote on the most wanted pizza creation.
The fan with the most votes in October will have their pizza creation marketed and
placed on the Rosati’s menu for life! It’s a unique way to bring the online experience to
the dining experience.
“We want customers to feel part of the Rosati’s family. “Chef Joe’s Challenge,” is the
customer’s “My Rosati’s,” said Brittany Burzawa, social media director of Rosati’s
Franchising, Inc. “The pizza can be any kind and who wouldn’t want bragging rights for
creating the next pizza for a national brand?”
“Join the family, join the fun! Will you be the next pizza artisan?” said Marla Topliff,
president of Rosati’s Franchising, Inc.
In 1964, the third generation of Rosati’s opened the first Rosati’s takeout and delivery.
All ten siblings worked in the restaurant. The commitment and work ethic led the way to
franchising in 1978. By the fourth generation, the Rosatis were planning their next
expansion when they decided to take a new direction and pursue separate ventures. In
2005, My Rosati’s Pizza was born. As of 2012, My Rosati’s operates 120 stores in 10
states, and growing, now franchising My Rosati’s Pizza Pubs. http://www.myrosatis.com.
