MOD Pizza’s Pocket Pie, introduced in March, is officially a hit. Now it’s become a permanent menu item at all 540-plus locations systemwide.

MOD Pizza, headquartered in Seattle, launched the Pocket Pie on Pi Day, March 14, as a limited-time offering. Each individually sized Pocket Pie is filled with meats, cheeses and veggies, fired in the oven, then folded over for a quick, handheld meal.

Our customers made their voices heard,” said Scott Uehlein, the brand’s VP of culinary excellence and innovation. “After overwhelming demand for a craveable, on-the-go option for lunch or dinner, the clear choice was to keep the Pocket Pie on our menu—permanently.”

Uehlein said MOD Pizza will also “explore ways to evolve” the menu item.

Currently, the Pocket Pies are available in three options:

  • Italiano: A white sauce base packed with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, salami, roasted red peppers, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil and arugula, and red sauce.
  • Four Cheese: A white sauce base filled with freshly shredded mild cheddar, mozzarella, asiago and Parmesan cheese.
  • Chicken Bacon Ranch: A white sauce base filled with shredded mild cheddar cheese, chicken, bacon and a ranch drizzle.

The MOD Pocket Pie sells for prices ranging from $7.99 to $9.56 depending on location in the U.S. and for $12.99 in Canada.
