According to a news report from kpax.com, “Over 100 Sentinel High School freshman who pledged to stay in school were congratulated by Missoula Mayor John Engen on Monday with some pizza.”

“The mayor had sent letters to freshmen at Missoula’s three high schools at the start of the school year asking for their pledges to stay in school,” said the story. “The letter included a voluntary response card students could return with their commitments to graduation. Mayor Engen says 292 students made the pledge, which will not only benefit the students but also the community.”
