According to a news report from punxsutawneyspirit.com, “Fox’s Pizza Den hosted Day Two of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s annual “Light Up a Child’s Life” campaign twice Tuesday, first in the morning and then from 5 to 7 p.m. Fox’s also had a donation source of its own, selling coupons for extra-large pizzas costing only $6.99. All of the coupon sales will be donated directly to Make-A-Wish.”

“More than 700 coupons had been sold as of 6:15 p.m., and the sale was scheduled to continue until 10 p.m. Speaking with WPXZ-FM Tuesday night was Garrett Gardner, 11, who explained why Make-A-Wish was important. “It helps kids who have been through a lot,” he said. “It helps us forget about being sick.” Gardner, a sixth grader in the Purchase Line School District, had a wish granted earlier this summer, when his family received a swimming pool,” said the story.

UPDATE: Fox’s Pizza Den helped to grant a wish with the proceeds of its pizza sales, selling nearly 1,000 XL pizzas.
