WHAT:
Sal Lupoli of the Lupoli Companies along with Mayor Michael Sullivan and Citizen’s Bank CEO Larry Fish will hold a press conference to announce a new Citizenship Initiative Pilot program for Lupoli Companies employees. The program will provide Green Card holding employees with free legal guidance, educational assistance, citizenship training and language skills development to aid them in pre-qualifying for U.S. citizenship. Ten employees of Lupoli Companies have been selected as the first to benefit from the program.  The initiative is being funded by the Lupoli Companies as well as the City of Lawrence and The Fish Foundation. Area non-profits such as The Leadership & Literacy Foundation and Irish Immigration Center will offer additional assistance.
