“The Kendallville, Indiana Pizza Hut’s marquee says “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.”

Thank you for what you may ask?

It’s general manager Bill Miller’s way of thanking customers for their support after he was recently honored with Pizza Hut, Inc.’s Donald M. Kendall Award given annually to the manager who consistently demonstrates business excellence,” according to KPC News. “The award is named after Donald Kendall, the former chief executive officer of Pepsi and Pizza Hut, Inc.

Miller was selected from nearly 6,100 Pizza Hut managers in the country. It’s the most prestigious and highest award given by Pizza Hut, Inc., according to Ted Sadler, chief financial officer of Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne, the local Pizza Hut franchise owner. “He’s an outstanding manager,” Sadler said of Miller.

Miller and his team (he insists on sharing the award with his management team and 80 employees) earned the award with impressive results that landed them in the top 2 percent of Pizza Hut’s 6,100 restaurants nationwide in several categories.”
