Lake Geneva locals and tourists will enjoy dining on Chicago’s original deep dish pizza and other favorite Italian dishes while taking in a spectacular panoramic view of the lake when The Original Gino’s East of Chicago opens a new restaurant in Wisconsin on, June 11. The pizzeria that is famous for its deep golden pie-like crust will soon be serving its legendary pizza and other Italian specialties at its newest location at 300 Wrigley Drive in Lake Geneva, WS,  overlooking the lake, just 100 yards East of Riviera Docks.
          The Lake Geneva Gino’s East will be a joint venture between two famous Chicago family businesses, The Original Gino’s East of Chicago and THE BUONA COMPANIES of Berwyn, IL. It will seat 160 guests in a comfortable, cozy setting with rustic accents and an entire wall of windows overlooking the lake. Additional outdoor seating will also be available.
          The house favorite on the full service menu will be the legendary handmade deep
dish pizza in sizes small, medium and large, surrounded by a golden crust made from a secret recipe, with chunky, fresh vine-ripened tomatoes and a choice of over a dozen fresh ingredients for toppings.   The pizzas will be baked to perfection in the restaurant’s original old style stone hearth deck ovens.
          In addition to serving Gino’s East famous deep dish and thin crust pizzas, the restaurant will introduce a number of newly-created Gino’s East Signature Entrees which will come in small or large portions. Among the highlights: Chicken Parmesan; Chicken Lemone; and Grilled Salmon.
          New Pasta Entrees will include a delicious rich Lasagna; Cavatappi Alfredo with Chicken and Broccoli; and Baked Rigatoni with Sausage.
Gino’s East – add one        
          Other new offerings from Gino’s East in Lake Geneva will include a variety of Café Sandwiches, Chicken, Beef and Spinach Strombolis (pockets of golden, flaky crust stuffed with a choice of flavorful fillings), and unique Hand Tossed Salads.
          The menu will also feature theaward-winning original family recipe Buona™ Italian Beef. Buona™, which, in Italian, means “good,” was created in 1981 by the Buonavolanto family from a favorite recipe they brought to Chicago from Naples, Italy.
          Parties of six or more will be able to order a Gino’s Pizza Party: select a Deep Dish and a  Thin Crust Pizza (with up to three toppings each) and choose two each from a list of Appetizers, Hand Tossed Salads and Desserts for  just $16.95 per person.
          For a special finishing touch, diners will delight in a choice of delectable dessert offerings, with a unique Cannoli Martini (Cannoli shells, sweet and creamy Italian cheese filling and chocolate chips), taking the cake, so to speak!
          The Original Gino’s East of Chicago, will feature a full premium bar, an expanded wine list and a specialty drinks menu featuring a large variety of martinis and popular frozen drinks.          
          The restaurant will offer a full array of party and catering services and will be able to create the perfect menu and party for any family, organization or corporate event. Catering orders may be picked up at the restaurant or can be delivered to the customer’s door. Special catering services will also be available to boaters docked at Lake Geneva. 
            The Original Gino’s East of Chicago in Lake Geneva will be open seven days a week, Sunday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Menu items will also be available for Delivery or Carry Out. The restaurant will accept all major credit cards and will be handicapped accessible. 
          The Original Gino’s East of Chicago opened in 1966 when two taxi drivers and a friend, frustrated with rush hour traffic, decided to open a pizzeria at 162 E. Superior Street, just off Michigan Avenue. Since then, with the opening of the new Lake Geneva Gino’s East, the restaurant that became an instant legend with local Chicagoans, national celebrities and visitors from around the world, has expanded to 13 locations, including Chicago’s Gold Coast; River North; Lakeview; O’Hare Plaza; Orland Park; Rolling Meadows; St. Charles; Naperville; Lake Zurich; Wheaton; Libertyville; and Deerfield, IL.
