Austin Hometown Tradition Opens on the Web
(AUSTIN, TX January 31, 2007):  As of today, online pizza lovers in Austin, Texas can visit www.gattispizza.com and order up a fresh, Gatti’s Pizza delivered right to their doorstep, with just a few clicks of their mouse.  And, if memory fails, one can go ahead and type in the familiar jingle, www.459-2222.com – it will get them there as well!

“Austin is one of the most wired cities in the world,” said Mike Mrlik, CEO of the Austin-based pizza company.  “It was only a matter of time before customers began requesting their hometown tradition to be available for ordering online.  We’re answering that call today.”

Online ordering is now available for participating restaurants in the Austin-area and will eventually be available for Gatti’s Pizza locations across the country.  Customers can visit the Web site, created by Austin-based design firm Fosforus, to learn if online ordering is available in their area.

“We were experiencing such incredible volume in our call centers and directly to our stores,” Mrlik said.  “It just made good customer-service sense to provide another convenient ordering channel.”

Customers placing orders at www.gattispizza.com and www.459-2222.com can select from the entire Gatti’s menu and have the option to use cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or redeem Gatti’s Pizza coupons for online purchases.
