Garlic Jims Announces Opening of Companys First Dine-In Bistro

SEATTLE, WA (March 27, 2007)– Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza®, the first and only “gourmet” carry-out and delivery pizza chain, is expanding its repertoire by opening the company’s first “dine-in” bistro location on March 27, 2007, at 4520 California Avenue SW, in West Seattle Junction. The new locale, which joins a group of already successful Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Pennsylvania and California carryout locations, will boast a larger menu than any other Garlic Jim’s store. Unlike other Garlic Jim’s locations, this full service pizza parlor will have the capacity to seat 45-50 people and will serve wine and beer while still offering carryout and delivery services.
 
Garlic Jim’s has grown rapidly since its first store opened in March, 2004. The new bistro will be the company’s 39th location, but the first restaurant that will offer the option of enjoying Garlic Jim’s food in a fun, friendly atmosphere. The opening will mark the beginning of what Garlic Jim’s hopes will be a successful new portion of their business, which will allow their customers a fullGarlic Jim’s dining experience, complete with the company’s gourmet pizzas and excellent service.
 
Franchisees Candice and Ryan Reese will proudly host a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the “dine-in” restaurant, located at 4520 California Avenue SW, in West Seattle Junction. Seattle city councilman Tom Rasmussen will cut the ribbon, after which, attendees will receive samples of food and tours of the restaurant.
 
The groundbreaking location will have an expanded menu including a larger salad selection, appetizers, desserts and a new “extra large pizza” size option. Wine and beer will also be available. The restaurant will seat 45-50 people, and entertain patrons with individualized flat screen TVs at each booth, in addition to a large 42” flat screen and a top-line sound system. The company’s signature carryout and delivery services will, of course, still be available.
