Few pizzerias are as highly regarded as Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven, Connecticut, just as few colleges are as reputable as Yale University, just down the road from Pepe’s.
Now the two New Haven institutions have announced a partnership. Yale University Athletics, specifically, will feature Pepe’s marketing and promotional materials on game days at Yale’s athletic facilities. A press release stated, “Pepe’s will also contribute to the vibrant spirit and excitement of Yale Athletics through joint programming and community initiatives.”
“We are thrilled with this collaboration of two iconic institutions with long-standing community legacies in New Haven,” said Kevin Printz, CEO of Frank Pepe Development Co. “We have loved serving Yale students, faculty and alumni for the past 98 years and look forward to extending this bond further as we celebrate this deep-rooted connection.”
