Fieri to Demo Techniques, Talk About Industry and Answer Culinary Students’ Questions

Sacramento, Calif. – Guy Fieri of Guy’s Big Bite on the Food Network and member of the California Restaurant Association will host a culinary event in Sacramento for the area’s 11 ProStart® schools and culinary students from American River College.

WHAT: Guy Fieri will host a culinary event for ProStart® students and teachers as well as culinary students from American River College to demonstrate culinary techniques, detail real-life restaurant experiences and answer students’ questions on the industry.

DETAILS: Guy Fieri is the star of Guy’s Big Bite on the Food Network and the owner of the Johnny Garlic’s and Tex Wasabi’s restaurants, with the newest location set to open in Sacramento next month. Guy has been a three-term president of the Restaurant Association of the Redwood Empire, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Guy is a national culinary competition judge and competes on a professional barbecue team.
