According to a news report from WiganToday.net, “A Wigan takeaway could be ordered to tear down a new extension – before it has ever been used. Neighbours called in Metro planning inspectors after the Continental Grill pizza and kebab restaurant in Wigan Road, Bryn, commissioned a rear annex. But they found the building hadn’t been constructed in line with standard building regulations.”

“There has been no attempt to get planning permission or have preliminary discussions with town hall officers,” said the story.
