According to Columbus Business First, “Donatos Pizzeria LLC has tapped a packaged foods veteran to oversee its ready-made and private-label pizza division.”

“The Gahanna-based company has brought on Alan Hoover, most recently president and chief operating officer of nearby Kahiki Foods Inc., as the general manager for Jane’s Dough Foods. Donatos CEO Tom Krouse said in a release that Hoover has the leadership to expand the business at a national level. Hoover’s resume includes more than 21 years with branded frozen foods, food packaging, private label and contract manufacturing businesses, with stints at Pressware International Inc., Sonoco Products Co. and International Paper Co. He most recently spent 12 years at Kahiki, the Asian frozen food company spun off in 1993 from the popular Kahiki Supper Club restaurant, which closed in 2000 after 39 years on the city’s east side. He also is convention chairman for the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association.”
