According to the Washington Business Journal, “f you’re the kind of person who freaks out over the often-exorbitant mark-ups seen on wine lists, you might want to head to Bethesda this summer.”

“That’s where veteran restaurateur Francis Namin will open Food Wine & Co., a bistro bound for the former Pizzeria Uno space at 7272 Wisconsin Ave. Namin has a long history in the local restaurant market. He opened D.C.’s former two Red Tomato Cafe restaurants, as well as the former Centro Italian Grill, also in Bethesda. He currently owns Bethesda-based wine shop Cork 57, as well as three incarnations of Don Pollo, a Peruvian chicken restaurant.”
