Best Tasting Pizza Contest

Who: 15 pizza parlors (national chains are excluded).  In the event that more than 15 sign up, a judging panel will review and recommend the top 15 based on quality, consistency and customer reviews.

What: A pizza contest featuring plain and specialty pizzas

Where: Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs located at 3525 E. Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80206

When:  Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 1-3pm

Why:  To find the best tasting plain and specialty pizza in Denver 
 
More Info:  The Gabby Gourmet and Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs will team up to provide a best tasting pizza contest featuring 15 local pizza parlors.  The event will be broadcast live on The Gabby Gourmet Show from 1-3pm on KHOW 630 AM.  Participating owners/managers may have an opportunity to talk live on air about their respective restaurants.

How to enter:  Logon to www.gabbygourmet.com or www.stevessnappindogs.com and complete the online form.  There is no cost to enter but will be limited to 15.

What to Bring on the Day of the Event:  At least one large plain pizza and one large specialty pizza of your choice for the judges to taste.  Please bring your pies hot and ready to eat. Entrants are encouraged to bring samples for the audience to sample. Please arrive no later than 12:45pm on the day of the event (January 23).  Please note that Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs will have a warming oven to keep pizzas hot.
