According to the Associated Press, “California Pizza Kitchen Inc. on Wednesday said it opened its first company owned and operated restarant in China.”

“The store is in Shanghai, the nation’s largest city. The company also opened its first international office there to work with franchisees and to support company growth in China. The Los Angeles-based company now has franchised or licensed restaurants in 31 locations, including Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Mexico, South Korea, Guam, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates.”
