According to the Boston Globe, “pizza chain Upper Crust is about to take a slice out of the late-night delivery business.”

“By mid November, the pizzeria’s location at 888 Commonwealth Avenue in Brookline next to the Boston University campus will remain open for take out and delivery until 2 a.m. on weekends, instead of closing up shop at 11:30 p.m. Upper Crust founder Jordan Tobins said the extended hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays, will allow the store to serve BU students who are up late and looking for something to eat. The extended hours at the Commonwealth Avenue location will also allow Upper Crust to deliver pizza after midnight throughout much of Boston and Brookline when the pizzeria chain’s other locations have closed, Tobins said. Other Upper Crust pizzeria’s close by 11 p.m. on weekends because some are located in buildings with a mix of businesses and residences.”
