According to the Winnipeg Free Press, “Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund (TSX:BPF.UN) has added six new full-service restaurants to its collection, replacing an equal number of locations that were closed last year.”

“The fund currently receives royalties based on a percentage of revenues generated by 340 restaurants that use the Boston Pizza trademarks. The six restaurants that were added to Boston Pizza’s royalty as of Jan. 1 will generate an estimated $9.2 million in annual gross franchise revenue — about $2.2 million more than generated by the now-closed restaurants.”
