Yet another strategic alliance between the most prestigious international sector exhibition, organised by VeronaFiere and Ipack-Ima Spa, and the reference trade association in Italy. New collaboration to ensure excellent visitor attendance at the exhibition
Verona, 26 February 2007. A new strategic agreement supporting the world of “Bakery, Pastry, Confectionery, Fresh Pasta and Pizza” between SIAB, International Techno-Bake Exhibition, and Confcommercio, the main national association in the category boasting more than 820 thousand companies, of which 300 thousand active in the foodstuff technology field (bread, pizza, pastry, catering).
Thanks to this agreement, SIAB – scheduled at VeronaFiere next 5-9 May – can rely on qualitative improvements as regards visitors and an even larger audience thanks to the association’s capillary coverage of all Italian provinces.
Exhibitors at the Show, organised by VeronaFiere together with Ipack-Ima Spa (a leading company in the foodstuff packaging and processing technology event field), will also benefit from direct contacts with Assipan-Confcommercio bakeries (more than 25 thousand) in the of the agreement already signed with SIAB last December, and outlets operating in pizza, pastry and catering fields.
“We keep a close eye on activities in the bread field,” said Giovanni Bort, national director of Confcommercio, “by helping various territorial federations to expand and valorise the entire sector – the basis of daily diet and including pizza, catering and pastry. Collaboration with SIAB means we can ensure even better quality support for this production area and play a major role in the field at a top-flight national and international showcase.”
“We already enjoy a solid relationship with Confcommercio,” said Flavio Piva, co-director general of VeronaFiere, “involving many events in the agro-food value chain, now joined by this alliance in the foodstuff technologies sector at SIAB. The coming edition of the exhibition has seen us invest significantly in terms of exhibitor and visitor quality to ensure even greater international attendance and a system of relationships involving all the main sector associations.”
