It’s Show Time in New York

The Big Apple is about to become the Big Pizza, at least for the first three days of November. Pizza industry exhibiters, visitors, contestants, readers and leaders from all over Pizzaland will be gathering at the Javits to meet, celebrate and inaugurate a new pizza marketplace. It’s show time for PMQ’s New York Pizza Show… and we’re ready. Are you? Pre-Show Workshops are November 1st and exhibition and seminar days are November 2nd and 3rd.

PMQ and our trade show partners have been busier than a one-armed pizza maker, working to make the New York Pizza Show a different and better kind of East Coast pizza show, and we’ve done it. Beside a whole new set of vendors and educational opportunities, you’ll see many brand new faces from the 35,000 pizza stores which are located within only 700 miles of NYC. If you’re still not sure you’re coming, take a look at the Show Preview on page 98. Where else can you get all this for $50?

CiCi’s Pizza To Receive P.I.E. Award At PMQ’s Opening Night Party

You’ll read more on page 52 about the amazing story of CEO Craig Moore and how he put CiCi’s Pizza on the top in just one short year. Congratulations to Craig and his management team for earning PMQ’s Pizza Industry Enterprise Award.

m,Free Beer!

Now that I have your attention, there will be an Opening Night Social Tuesday, November 2nd, where we'll enjoy refreshments provided by Rheingold Beer and Frederick Wildman & Sons, as well as cheeses from Grande. Tony Modica will provide entertainment as he performs his hit single "The Pizza Dance" and other top songs. This fun-filled evening won't end there. PMQ will also present CiCi’s Pizza’s Craig Moore the 2004 PIE Award.

Italy? France? Australia? United States?

With the national pizza champions from each of these countries present at PMQ’s New York Pizza Show, we just had to have a gourmet pizza contest. Ooh and Ah as the world’s top pizza makers vie for the America’s Plate Award. The winning country will play host to the award until next November at the 2005 New York Pizza Show when the America’s Plate competition crowns a new world champion. See page 105 for details.

PMQ Contributors To Answer Attendees’ Questions

Tom Lehman, Big Dave, Kamron Karington, Mike Roberts and most of your favorite PMQ contributors will be answering your questions at the “Ask the Experts” section on the show floor at scheduled times after seminars.

Alright Already! Enough about New York

We welcome you to join us, the industry’s leading experts, pizza makers from across the world and probably a lot of your competitors and be part of our event. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
