According to the Boulder Country Business Report, “Naked Pizza, a rapidly expanding chain of carryout and delivery pizzerias that serves pizza made with all-natural ingredients, has secured a home for its Boulder franchise. ”

“The restaurant will be located in a 1,140-square-foot space at 1629 28th St. It will be the chain’s first location in Colorado. Naked Pizza was launched in 2009 in New Orleans with the intent of improving the nutritional quality of people’s diets while using the fast food franchise model as “a Trojan horse,” to reach a mass audience, co-founder Robbie Vitrano said. The chain has six restaurants now but 500 are under contract, Vitrano said. The Boulder restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-March, he said. The Boulder franchise will be owned by JCJ’s Investments Boulder LLC.”
