According to USA Today, “Norwegian Cruise Line has gone outside the industry to fill another key position, hiring a top pizza company executive to oversee its finances. ”

“The company today announced its new executive vice president and chief financial officer will be Wendy Beck, who until now has held the same titles at Ann Arbor-based Domino’s Pizza. Before landing at Domino’s in 2008, Beck worked for years at Whataburger and, in the 1990s, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants. ‘Over the past several years, we have been building a very strong senior leadership team with a combination of both industry veterans and experts from outside the cruise industry,’ Norwegian CEO Kevin Sheehan notes in a statement. ‘With her more than 20 years of relevant financial experience, Wendy brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise to our company. ‘”
