According to the Boston Herald, "A New York bankruptcy court judge’s approval today of Uno Restaurant Holdings Corp.’s reorganization plan should allow the Boston-based pizzeria chain to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection later this month, according to a company official."

"Uno had filed for bankruptcy protection in January with plans to shed $142 million in debt in exchange for its bondholders gaining majority ownership of the company known for its Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. The reorganization plan allows Uno to reduce its debt from $176 million to approximately $40 million, according to chief financial officer Louie Psallidas."
