JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 16, 2010) – The Loop Pizza Grill is adding two new, limited-time-only milkshakes to its menu this summer: Mint OREO and Reese’s Peanut Butter.

Loop patrons will be able to enjoy the hand-dipped shakes as soon as next week and lasting all summer long until September 10.

The flavors were chosen after The Loop hosted its Milkshake Challenge on Facebook, where more than 3,500 Loop fans were given the opportunity to vote on their favorite shake ideas. Five fans came out with $25 Loop gift cards, and Reese’s Peanut Butter and Mint OREO received the most votes.

“Although we were intrigued by some of the more unique requests like Coconut Cream and Orange Creamsicle, Reese’s and Mint OREO were the winners in our Milkshake Challenge,” The Loop Marketing Director Cathy Manzon noted. “We consider this the ultimate ice cream social-using social networking to help give our customers what they really want. And in this case, it’s cookie and candy shakes.” 

The Loop’s popular milkshakes and malts blend premium ice cream and flavors into a perfectly sweet summertime treat. Other flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and OREO. They’re the perfect ending to a meal from the fire-grilled menu or after finishing off one of The Loop’s signature pizzas.
