The pop star showed up yesterday afternoon at the restaurant, on Southeast 1st Street, to sign autographs for fans. But, um, I’m not sure they did a terrific job promoting it. ‘We didn’t notice anything,’ said another tenant in that mall, who was not aware that a mini-celebrity was in her midst. ”

“As best we can tell, the only promoting the restaurant did was on Aaron Carter’s Twitter page: ‘Hey everyone!! I am here at SLICE!! Come see me while I’m still here, address is in my other tweets see ya soon! Best pizza ever!!!! :)’ Slice owner Jack Koussevitzki tells Juice that he and Carter have known each other for years. ‘He’s been here a few times,’ says Koussevetski. ‘He loves the pizza. We consummated the deal this week.’ For those die-hard fans who missed the appearance, good news: Carter will be back tomorrow at 1. And to his credit, he’s grown a thick skin. To wit, Perez Hilton cracked, ‘A signed copy of his shiteous albums ?! We’ll take the pizza!”
