DAYTON, OH. – Globe Food Equipment today announced it has received National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approval for its Quick-Clean™ proprietary nickel-based coating that is available as an option on its line of all premium food slicers. This special coating makes the surface much easier to clean, especially when using the units to slice sticky products such as cheese. The Quick-Clean coating is hard and durable and is now available as an option when ordering any of Globe’s premium slicers. The coating is available on areas of the slicer that are primary food contact areas – the knife cover and the slice table.

In addition to this optional coating, Globe’s premium slicers have many benefits in common including improved product yield, superior sanitation and ease of cleaning. Globe’s premium slicers are proven to be the best for reliable performance; built exclusively of stainless steel and featuring an open-spaced base design. When combined with Globe’s NSF-approved specially-formulated Quick-Clean coating, the clean-ability of Globe’s premium slicers is unmatched.

The National Sanitation Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organization that helps protect consumers by certifying products and writing standards for food, water and consumer goods. Products that receive the NSF mark give an assurance to the consumer and the industry that the product has been tested by one of the most respected independent certification companies.
