According to a news report from kwtx.com, “For three years now the Dominoes Pizza Restaurant in Copperas Cove has provided free, build-your-own pizzas to soldiers serving at Fort Hood.”
“More than 600 soldiers and their families showed up Monday March 10 to take the place up on their offer,” said the story. “It all was the brainchild of Ingrid Keifer, manager of the Copperas Cove store. “I just thought it was time we quit talking about appreciating our soldiers and started doing something about it,” she told News 10. Such a hit was the event that this year one of Dominoes’ executives came in from Atlanta, Georgia to take part in the annual event.”
