RICHMOND, VA (Feb. 19, 2008) Progressive Group Alliance announces the first annual Buonamici Pizzeria Professional Academy held February 6, 2008, in Richmond, VA with 16 pizzeria Distributors. The Academy was an intensive two-day seminar on Sales and Marketing Strategies for distributors who sell to the pizzeria segment.  The venue brought together some of the best speakers and trainers in the industry and students experienced both “hands-on” and classroom training. 

“The idea behind this training event was to put DSR’s through an intensive program of Sales and Marketing trends that directly apply to the pizzeria segment and certify them as professionals”, says Ross Violi, VP Special Segments.  Ross said, “This program is unlike any other offered in the industry and these DSR’s can now market themselves and their companies as such”. DSR’s attending the seminar graduated and received a diploma acknowledging the completion of the Academy.
