FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.—With 50 franchises already sold in six states, new organic restaurant chain Pizza Fusion (www.PizzaFusion.com) has named CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) as its exclusive site selector to facilitate the company’s national franchise expansion. As part of the agreement, Pizza Fusion—which touts organic ingredients and green business practices—will work closely with CBRE’s Restaurant Specialty Practice Group to extend the scope of their existing markets and expand into new areas through comprehensive site selection, including the use of demographic mapping and capital market analysis.

“Pizza Fusion is the ideal, cutting edge client, which brings a level of excitement and growth to the evolving green market place,” noted Russell Barnett, VP and executive director of CBRE’s Restaurant Specialty Practice Group. In June, CBRE announced a global green initiative to render all the facilities it occupies carbon neutral by 2010, and is working with the Natural Resources Defense Council to engage CBRE clients in the implementation of energy saving technology and practices.

“CBRE is a perfect example of the type of businesses we’re seeking to grow with,” said Michael Gordon, COO and co-founder of Pizza Fusion. “Their industry leading concern for the environment and experience with LEED certification will be an asset to Pizza Fusion during the rapid growth we anticipate over the next five years. Additionally, by supporting environmentally conscious businesses, like CBRE, through strategic alliances with Pizza Fusion, we’re able to promote green business practices as a whole, while furthering our ecological impact on the world.”
