According to a news report from www.bizjournals.com, “Yum Brands Inc, the parent company of fast-food chains such as Pizza Hut and KFC, plans to double its revenue in India by 2010, according to a report by Reuters.”

“The news service, citing Niren Chaudhary, India managing director for Louisville-based Yum, said the company will add 30 to 40 restaurants per year in India for the next three years,” said the story. “Yum (NYSE: YUM) currently operates about 130 Pizza Hut restaurants and 30 KFC restaurants in India. Pizza Hut Inc. is based in Dallas. Yum also operates the Taco Bell, Long John Silver’s and A&W All-American Foods brands, but those are not present in India.”
