According to a news report from MurfreesboroPost.com, “A restaurant franchise born out of its creator’s need to get out of the house is opening a second Murfreesboro location.”

“The independently owned and operated Fox’s Pizza Den is slated for 2042 Lascassas Highway in the Kroger-anchored Rutherford Crossing Shopping Center,” said the story. “The first Fox’s Pizza Den in Tennessee opened (by another owner) in Murfreesboro at 2910 E. S. Church St. four years ago. Now there are restaurants in Nashville, Antioch, Madisonville, Maryville and Johnson City. Owner Darrin Nicholson is hoping his restaurant will be ready for an August opening.”

According to the article, “We have always wanted a franchise for one, my wife (Susan) and I,” he said of why they are opening the restaurant. “After doing some research, we found out that Fox’s is growing at a very rapid pace and the incentives are better.”
