Pizza Delight’s founder and CEO Bernard Imbeault is succeeded by former Olive Garden and Cracker Barrel president Ron Magruder.

Magruder has been named president and chief executive of Pizza Delight Corp. Ltd. in New Brunswick, Canada, operator or franchisor of the Pizza Delight, Mikes, SCores and Baton Rouge casual and family restaurants.

The article said:  All of Pizza Delight’s brands operate solely in Canada.  Magruder most recently was a group president at Cara Operations Ltd., a diversified Canadian company whose more than 540 Swiss Chalet and Harvey’s restaurants he oversaw.  He spend most of his career at General Mills Restaurants and its successor, Darden Restaurants, where he oversaw the rapid development of Olive Garden.

The article said:  He later headed Cracker Barrel and was chief executive of the Hops brewpub chain before briefly heading a restaurant spinoff of the Tommy Bahama clothing retailer.  Magruder also serves as the director of the National Restaurant Association where he previously was the chairman.
